Our latest creation is a fully customizable shaker-style pub table, complete with an engraved top and a scaffold of mini-helmets. The table is roughly 42×35 inches, but can be modified to your needs. It is made of solid wood (shown in maple), and can be built to your specifications of wood species and finish. The legs and base are solid wood as well. This one-of-a-kind design comes with a custom engraved top of your choice — we'll work with your ideas to create your very own unique engraving. It also features a first-of-its-kind scaffold displaying 32 football helmets. This table will truly be the centerpiece of your entertaining space, and a must for any football fan.
This farmhouse-style kitchen table with a racetrack top is designed to blend in seamlessly to any rustic decor. It is made from solid oak edge-joined boards, with pine legs. Size and finish can be adjusted to customer preferences. The table in the photo is just an example of what we can do — we are able to change whatever you'd like about the table to match your needs. Contact us to discuss. Additional Details: The racetrack is cut by hand to fit the oval once the inner oval is complete. The legs for this table are curved, but any leg style can be used for the pedestal, and/or the pedestal can be replaced with an “H” style or farmhouse “X” style 4×4 legs (see our coffee table for an example).
Upgrade the look of your living room or family room with this rustic farmhouse-style coffee table. The table is made from solid wood throughout. It features a hardwood top of oak, maple, or wood of your choice, along with a 4×4 pine base. Finish: The base and legs are stained and distressed, then dry-brush painted and further distressed. The top is step-sanded and then stained with a vinegar/steel wool blend. Finally, it is finished in either a water- or oil-based polyurethane. The base and top contrast, along with our desired distressed/aged look, really make this piece pop! Shipping: Local pickup available. Free delivery within 25 miles of 07722. Email us to discuss options and costs.
Add some handcrafted feel to your home decor with a solid 8/4 (2 inch thick) wood slab bench. Perfect for use as an entry-way feature to change shoes. Dimensions: Bench is roughly 12 inches wide and 7 feet long, but actual dimensions can vary. Legs are made from the same 2 inch thick wood, and a solid iron pipe — painted black and distressed — is used to connect the two legs. The pipe is capped on both ends. Either oak, maple, or poplar are available, but we can try to source other slabs for you if desired (may adjust cost). Additional Details: The slab legs protrude through the slab top via through-mortises. If necessary, custom butterflies will be cut to alleviate any future wood movement in the slab — this particular slab required 2. The slab can be finished to your liking; the photos show a vinegar/steel wool stain used to add some color and aging effect, then finished off with a coat of polyurethane.

The rundown

Hi, I'm Anthony.

I take the work very seriously. Myself, not so much.

The woodworking started the old-fashioned way — out of necessity. We bought our first house in 2004, I went all-in on the DIY scene, and it wasn't a year before I had a full shop set up. Then I got into chainsaw-milling, sawed my first log, and was hooked for life. I milled over a thousand board feet of oak and maple that first year and started turning the slabs into bar tops, workbenches, and dining tables for family and friends.

I run a web development company by day, but the shop is where I actually unwind. A recent home move had me making a pile of table tops and bar tap handles, the compliments kept coming, and my wife finally told me to stop giving it all away to friends. So here we are.

I love live-edge slabs and one-off pieces with a rustic, worn character — think hand-made, not showroom. If you've got an idea, let's turn it into something cool.
